I had a wonderful childhood. My father was a professional Marine and my amazing mother stayed at home loving and caring for her three children. I grew up believing that the only rice is minute rice. As an adult, I met the second most beautiful woman I have ever met (right after my mother). Twenty-six years ago I married this wonderful woman, June. Just as I missed the wonders of rice until June showed me that there were other options besides the minute rice, I also missed the ease of use and value of this storage and measuring device. It is great. Stop wasting time bending over a 50-pound bag of rice in the pantry, scooping the rice by the cup and making sure each spoonful is level. Knowing that if my measuring spoons are full, I'm not putting the right amount of water in the rice cooker and my rice will dry out. Or, if my scoops are incomplete, my rice will come out uncooked. Ever since I have this wonderful product, the rice I cook has always been perfect. A slight push on the lever sends exactly one cup of rice into the container. Each additional press adds an additional cup. So easy to use. And now I can cook rice just as well as my wife. Hooray! This item is great and very easy to use. An attractive way to store rice. We keep ours on the counter. And makes an inaccurate measurement of rice impossible. Buy this and your cooked rice will always be accurately measured so it's always perfectly cooked.
