Such a price! The stool has a good seat height with a thick comfortable seat cushion covered with thick chenille padding. Easy to assemble, the legs unscrew in two places to go through the bar below and then screw into the seat. Less than 5 minutes. and no tools are required. The base is cherry with sculpted wooden legs, which I really like. Seems very strong. I weigh 150 pounds and it won't budge. My husband weighs 200 pounds and he doesn't move. The molding on the bottom prevents the legs from shifting during use, and the legs are thick to support an ADULT's weight. :) I'm glad I bought it. It was bought for the corner of a small entrance to put on shoes right before going out. Overall a great purchase and a great price!
