Optimized: Design Toscano Grand Duchess Vanity Stool - 17 Inch, Walnut Finish Review

The stool is just perfect. I bought this to match an antique dressing table I recently bought and it looks beautiful with it. It also looks pretty authentically vintage (if you don't look too closely). My vanity is quite low, so a narrow chair is ideal; I think it might even be a little shorter than advertised, which is a plus for me. It was easy to assemble (just screw on the legs) and very pretty, just like the photos in the listing.

This stool goes perfectly with my vintage dressing table. It is durable and comfortable to sit on. The assembly was very confusing; I couldn't find the instructions until I took the box apart. Fortunately, I understood from other reviews that the bottom part of the legs is unscrewed, the crossbar put in, and the bottom part of the legs is screwed back on. Got this on a great open box deal, I guess the last person couldn't figure out the assembly! So happy with my dressing table!

It is shorter (1.5 inch) than the website says. The item I received did not match the image on the web. The seat cushion was very hard. There was no plastic on the seat cushion as others claimed, leading me to believe it wasn't a new product. Another thing that annoyed me was that when trying to return it they just wanted to charge me 80% of the amount I paid. We've had this chair for over a year now and it's just as durable as day one. Elegant design and durable construction. woman's vanity. It is occasionally used by other family members, so I can attest to its reliability. Although probably not necessary, we put a sturdy piece of acrylic underneath to avoid damaging the wooden floors. Such a price! The stool has a good seat height with a thick comfortable seat cushion covered with thick chenille padding. Easy to assemble, the legs unscrew in two places to go through the bar below and then screw into the seat. Less than 5 minutes. and no tools are required. Beautiful dressing table with a comfortable seat, durable and vintage. Score 4 for assembly as we thought four pieces were missing - the instruction diagrams didn't show that these four leg pieces are already screwed together and need to be unscrewed first.
