I put them on freshly painted walls (just to let you know the walls were clean and stain free) but the adhesive didn't even last the first 12 hours they were on the walls! The next morning I found them all on the floor. While the backs didn't stick to the walls, the fronts definitely stuck to the floor and picked up all sorts of dust and lint. The fronts were so sticky I couldn't even peel them off. I know people were impressed with the fact that they were transparent but I thought they looked weird on the wall. As if you could see the combination of paint and air pockets. It looked weird to me, not "invisible". Instead of trying to tape them to the wall I returned them and got regular doorstops that you can put on baseboards!
