piss off! on soundbars

I was really looking forward to this soundbar. When I received it, I ran a series of sound tests to ensure this soundbar lived up to my expectations of what Bose had to offer. In my opinion, this soundbar shouldn't even bear the Bose name. Below I've listed the pros and cons I've observed with this soundbar. Overall I was very disappointed as I had high hopes for the soundbar. I pay the extra money to get the real Bose sound offered in the 500 and 700 models. Don't settle for this soundbar knowing that the overall quality is below par. Either pay more money to get better True Bose sound, or choose a different brand. This is my opinion. Advantages: 1. Slim and elegant design. 2. Voice clarity option works great! 3. Has an HDMI ARC connection. Cons: 1. The bass on this soundbar is flat which is disappointing as there are many other soundbar options in this price range with much better sound. Sound has no depth. I feel like a lot of the finest sonic detail is lost with this soundbar. When watching an action film, it often seemed to me that many details were simply not there. 3. It's hard to know at what volume as the only thing that shows a change in volume is a little progress bar.4. No connection to Wi-Fi5. No Alexa voice commands. This is disappointing as you have plenty of other cheaper soundbars that offer Google Assistant or Alexa6 voice commands. Unable to connect wirelessly to 500 out of 700 bass modules7. Does not work with the Bose app.

Pros
  • Build and extend: The Bose TV Speaker is compatible with the Bose Bass Module 500 or 700 and requires a Bose Bass Module interconnect cable or standard 3.5mm audio cable, sold separately.
Cons
  • Protection
