Use Vet's Best that works. I have used many different products and this was the system that finally did the trick. Bathe your cat, then use Vet's Best Cat Safe Spray and Waterless Bath for the next few days/weeks as a touch-up in hard-to-reach areas. I don't like using waterless products because the cat licks off the by-products, but if you use it sparingly and as needed to control fleas it works and doesn't make the cat sick. The cocoon phase is the most difficult to survive. Use a soft-bristled brush (usually double-ended) that can be used during and after bathing to remove cocoons and larvae. I comb the cat on the counter and you can see what the cat sheds. Do not clean the cat on the floor. Eventually every product I tried prior to Vet's Best forced me to shave my cats and we were still losing the flea fight. Advantage and Frontline no longer work. Call your veterinarian to find out what flea drops work in your area. Fleas have evolved. I've been using these products for many years with great success, but no longer. I also covered all my furniture with sheets and towels and washed constantly until we got the situation under control. The Biocare flea trap (with light) is also a good purchase.
