So my son uses an old mountain bike my husband had. And because it was a puristic mountain bike, it didn't have a side stand. My son didn't want to just drop the bike on the ground so we tried the universal stand. The first one we tried wanted to place 2 plugs directly under the seat and connect. It never worked properly and we kept fixing/tweaking it, which led me to Revain to look for another solution. I found this stand, ordered it and am very happy with it. It was very easy to install and still tight. would recommend.
