Review on 🧴 Goo Gone Adhesive Remover - 8oz - Surface Safe for Stickers, Labels, Decals, Tape, Gum, Grease, and Tar Residue Removal by Kim Sanchez

I have been using Goo Gone for many years and I am very satisfied with this product. It exceeded my expectations. However, my recent purchase of Goo Gone through Revain was disappointing. My first disappointment was that the bottle opening was different than any other previous purchase. Instead of a small hole that would allow the bottle to be squeezed to dispense the desired amount of product, the only way to dispense was to dispense through the large hole after removing the cap. Squeezing out a small amount is not an option. I spilled Goo Gone the first few uses of a new bottle as I was able to tip and squeeze the bottle when removing the cap. The second disappointment was the strength of the product. It also removed/didn't remove sticky residue like the previously purchased Goo Gone. It also leaves a film of oil that is difficult and sometimes impossible to remove. I can't imagine Goo Gone changing the bottle or the product. I can't help but wonder if the seller might have altered the product. Why shouldn't there be a wringer cap yet and why should the product be so different? I will no longer purchase this product from Revain. I will buy from a local retail store and hope the manufacturer hasn't altered a great product. If so, I'll need to find something new to help with the endless sticky residue left after removing the labels.
