Ordered the first mobo that had no sound. Hours spent with Gigabyte technology and AMD technology - without permission. Finally, Gigabyte's technicians said the sound chip was probably defective. RMA did it. The second had the same problem. Gigabyte Tech and I spent more time over the weekend only to be asked to return it or send it in for a repair. I'm sending this back. If these two phones and the bench test Gigabyte ran last weekend are bad, then there could be a manufacturing issue with a bad sound chipset. I don't know but I had it with Gigabyte. I've built a few computers since the early 90's. i am not new If I could give a -5 I would. And I got a meager $20 compensation for my troubles - 4 weeks without a working computer and a lot of frustration. I cannot recommend this motherboard.
