Flight from San Francisco to Frankfurt and home at 19 and then 21 weeks pregnant. I had no gas at all. I got up about every hour or two during the flight to do a circle and also drank a lot of water. The tights were the hardest thing to put on the first time, but once I washed my hands the first time and learned how, it didn't take long. Unlike regular tights, which you can roll up in your hand and then pull down the entire leg, you really have to start at the foot, pull up the heel, then the calf, then the thigh. I'm not sure, but if knee-length tights have the same effect as thigh-high tights, I'll probably buy them instead. They almost reached my ass/underwear and then the elastic just killed me. Eager to take them off after 20 hours of driving through four airports. The advantage of thigh-length stockings over conventional tights was the comfort when going to the toilet. Again, I was pregnant and drinking lots and lots of water, so I probably went to the bathroom 5-6 times during the flight. I suppose it would be awful to struggle with your stomach in a tiny airplane lavatory while stuffing yourself back into pantyhose. If you have a long flight ahead of you and want to avoid the risk of blood clots, this is probably a win-win situation.
