Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Efficient Epson FastFoto FF-680W: High-Speed Wireless Photo and Document Scanning System in Black by Jonathan Wilson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Restricted software functionality

Pros – Incredibly fast. Can scan photos of almost any size at the speed of light. Recovery is pretty good, but old photos could be improved (e.g. change blue color to green). I love that it's wireless, but you still need to be close to your computer to be able to name files and such. .one. You cannot change the name of a photo individually like you can in most other types of software. You must name it individually before scanning. Example: You have 100 photos for a specific event, e.g. B. a birthday. I could scan them all under this event including the date. But if the two images were relatives that I want to name on the image, I would have to intercept that beforehand and create a subfolder of the main folder. Too much time especially when you have a lot of photos. It's about being able to scan quickly with minimal lead time and being able to flexibly rename when needed.2. You CANNOT organize your photos after they have been scanned. So if you have 20 photos and you want to move photo 5 to 20th place, you can't.3. You cannot upload sources other than DropBox or Google Photos. No option to upload images elsewhere.4. You cannot copy an image directly from a scanned photo. However, you can email it, and if you want, you can save it to your desktop or another folder, rename it, and save it. HUMM --- 1500+ photo - I don't do it.5. Minor - cannot be removed from the Edit menu. You also can't delete with a keystroke. They need to use their trash can and then press enter. There is no faster way than the Delete key on your keyboard. I'm giving it one star because the software in MHO isn't fully interactive and archaic. So, I can recommend this product - only if you don't mind my disappointments. It's fast ---- Too expensive for this level of frustration.

Pros

Cons
  • No color required
