I installed 8 150w light bulbs in a 30ft x 60ft shed with a 12ft ceiling and it is very bright. 100w is rated for 12" ceilings but I wanted to make sure it's bright enough so I used 150w and installed a Leviton dimmer switch, model IP710-LFZ so I can adjust the brightness to what I want and it works very well. Stepless adjustment of the light output without flickering. I used 18AWG twisted shielded pair for the low voltage wiring and installed 4 lamps per switch. The longest wire was 100 feet. Installing the dimmer required a bit more work but I'm glad I did and will do it again. The light quality looks very good and the light spread is very wide, illuminating the entire wall to the ceiling. As I checked the light, I placed my hand over the light source and it started casting a shadow as soon as my hand was level with the light source. I tested another brand and the light spread wasn't as good as it only illuminated half of the wall, although both were rated at 120 degrees.
