I installed a phone holder on my Nissan Rogue dashboard. The dashboard has texture, but this product stuck to it with no problem. I also have a case and pop socket on my phone and it was still holding it. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. So far this has been a great product. My only downside is that there are no instructions included in the kit on how to turn on the suction mechanism. However, there are instructions on the Revain product page if you look at the pictures. I don't use it with my arm outstretched and set it up in a fairly flat position, which gives it the strongest grip. The arm reaches quite far, but I don't need this feature in the installation position. Also, I had no trouble turning on and off hold on the phone. In general it fits my phone.
