Poor quality, falls out quickly in normal everyday use. Avoid.

Summary: I would definitely not buy again. Poor quality, broke quickly. Long version: The first 8-10 months the chair worked as expected and at a reasonable price. 8-10 months and then the problems started. First, the height adjustment mechanism began to fail. It accidentally slipped and lowered you while you were sitting in the chair, to the point where you had to intentionally get up every 45 minutes to adjust the seat height. Adjustment every 5-6 minutes. Eventually it got progressively worse to the point where the chair wouldn't rise at all and was permanently stuck in the lowest position. The joystick does nothing, just swings freely up and down. Excellent. The mount then began to fail, tipping from side to side. This continued until the chair had a natural resting point, tilted about 15 degrees to the right, and no one was sitting on it. The unoccupied left armrest is currently about 26 inches from the floor while the right armrest is 23 inches. Obviously, this is incredibly impractical and unstable. While sitting in it, you can use your weight to tip it back to its normal position, but I can tell you from experience that it kills your back. After all, upholstery/leather degrade incredibly quickly. Shortly after purchase, you will probably notice the mysterious appearance of small thin pieces of black plastic, scattered haphazardly around the rooms where this chair sits. Look down at your chair. Yes, those plastic waffle chunks are the "skin" that is shed from your stool and deposited in the surrounding area. So yes. I am not satisfied with this purchase. (For the record, I'm 6ft 1" and 190 pounds. I used this chair mostly daily as my home office chair before it became too painful and I had to replace it. I've been very comfortable with it up to this point. Absolutely normal use.)

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • A few little things
