Good chair: Home Office Chairs

A very, very good chair for the price. I'm happy with that. Cons: It was a little difficult to align the screws during assembly as some others have reported. The comfort angle is best (has the most support) when you're reclined, not when you're sitting upright (like at a table). The high back is not tall enough to easily support the head. I am 5-10 years old and it seems that the taller the person, the less comfortable this chair is. What I like: The chair is comfortable (I fell asleep in it)…

Pros
  • Worth the money

  • Too stupid

2014 and really like it, about 4 months ago I started sinking.

I bought this chair in December 2014 and I really like it - about 4 months ago it started sagging while I was sitting on it sometimes. I searched the internet and bought something (a plastic tube) that should keep it at the right level. Eventually the plastic ripped, so it all started all over again. I've tried a few things myself (hose clamps, tape, etc.) but nothing really worked. Today I looked at the order for Revain, checked the warranty section, found out there was a 2 year parts…

This is the worst chair I've ever owned.

Bought this chair for my home studio in September. At the end of November the chair started to wobble. I contact Revain and they told me to contact the manufacturer for a warranty. This is where the "but" comes into play. Your customer service is top notch. I submitted a warranty request online and received a response about 30 minutes later. They easily offer me a replacement part which I receive within 2 days via Fedex. The problem I have with this chair is that it keeps breaking. The first…

Anything but padding

This chair is a typical Revain product, not junk but not premium either. The chair is comfortable for a while until the so-called upholstery compresses and you sit on a hard surface under the upholstery. The chair is sturdy and sturdy, hence the 3 stars. Maybe four based on the price. But still I sit in this chair all day for work and had to take a pillow and put it on the bottom of the seat. Now I can work all day and my ass doesn't go numb. But adding a pillow doesn't look very cool. Oh I got

Not bad, not bad in the home office Chairs

The chair does not recline! If that's a problem, don't take this chair! The chair is comfortable for me and it feels a bit tight. It's like a hard pillow lol. Your ass doesn't sink into a chair, so if that's what you're looking for. This chair is not for you. Imagine the chair is a bit hard but comfortable. The quality is not bad but not leather but faux leather or something in between. But this is a review from a person who has used a wooden chair literally their whole life. I have never…

Molded plastic armrests and wheelbase, not metal

I'm disappointed that the base and armrests are molded plastic rather than metal - we bought another chair that was cheaper for my daughter was, and the parts are metal. When I discovered this I went back to the description and looked closely at the pictures and you can tell they are plastic but I think for the price they should be metal. I wish it was in the description and I'm adding it to this review so others know if it's important to them too. To their credit, the molded plastic isn't…

Lasted about 2 months before falling apart

The chair wasn't the most comfortable chair to begin with, but it worked. However, 2-3 months after buying the chair (several hours a day, 5 days a week), it started to tilt to one side. Not only was he leaning sideways, but the hydraulics that either raised or lowered the chair stopped working. Every time I lifted the chair and then sat on it, it would begin to sink to the lowest level that the chair could be lowered to. After about 4 months the tilt got worse and I could no longer sit upright

Pros

Cons
  • Some minor issues

Poor quality, falls out quickly in normal everyday use. Avoid.

Summary: I would definitely not buy again. Poor quality, broke quickly. Long version: The first 8-10 months the chair worked as expected and at a reasonable price. 8-10 months and then the problems started. First, the height adjustment mechanism began to fail. It accidentally slipped and lowered you while you were sitting in the chair, to the point where you had to intentionally get up every 45 minutes to adjust the seat height. Adjustment every 5-6 minutes. Eventually it got progressively…

Great chair! Worth every penny!

I bought it then saw some negative reviews and regretted it for a second. Came today, collected 25 minutes, it would have taken less time but my cat insisted to help. Overall assembly wasn't difficult. Just attaching the backrest to the seat was a bit fiddly, but doable. Although you may need someone else's help if you don't have strong hands. The hardest part of the assembly were the armrests. First you need to put the screw in the section that attaches to the backrest, screw it in firmly, and
