Socks looked and felt good. However, once I started putting them on I was blown away by how snug they fit around my ankles. I've been buying Gold Toe socks for many years. I walk a lot and need warm and comfortable socks. Without pinching my ankles and so tight in the shins, I think it almost cut off my circulation. So I measured my ankles. My foot is very narrow. Never had a problem except maybe too wide. With regular dress shoes, I had to buy very expensive shoes that weren't just marked NM or Large. My shoe size was 9 1/2 4A at the toe and 2A at the heel. In most shoes, my feet just pop out when I walk. So I couldn't believe that the socks I chose are so narrow. I asked the company to put a mark on their packaging. For little ankles only! Very disappointed. I'll wear them mason jar socks and see if it stretches.
