I'm always wrong about the size.
We bought 1 inch clamps. For the first time we received 1/2 inch clamps. After wasting a lot of time I ordered the 1" clamps again. Got 3/4 clamps. I'd say don't worry. The time saved here is greatly wasted by a bad product. I refused to go with this product because of incorrect to deal with labeling and incorrect sizing.
