Review on 🎨 Graco Magnum 262805 X7 Cart Airless Paint Sprayer - Premium Gray Spray Machine by Eric Salem

Originally I was going to buy the X5 but due to the trolley which has quite a major caveat, spend big bucks on the X7 den I will explain but also comes with a more powerful motor. I used this sprayer to paint both sides of a 150 foot 8F BoB cedar fence I built. 2 5 gallon buckets is all it takes to apply 2 coats, so airless spraying definitely improves efficiency. I bought a 22" extension which is cheaper on Lowes vs Revain and am very glad I did as otherwise I would have been fully protected. A respirator mask with matching color filters goes without saying! Initial setup involves flushing with water or mineral spirits. for cleaning hoses and engine with prime function, 2 buckets (1 inlet, 1 outlet) and LOTS of spirit when using oil base. The machine is deceptively quiet in spray mode, which I wasn't expecting and initially thought something was wrong. stirring noise. I haven't had any issues with clogs, but the dual-ended nozzle makes it very easy to flush out a clog when it does. So, a word of caution about the wagon. This cart only works to make your life easier by rolling the sprayer + 5 gallon bucket. Your workspace IF your bucket is half full or less, otherwise it will spill everywhere. If you go too low, your intake pipe will suck in air and you will need to refill before you can continue spraying. I found it easier to just grab the bucket with one hand and the spray cart with the other to move places, which pretty much defeats the purpose of a wheeled cart. This makes it easier to store the hose and power cord, but doesn't offer quite the convenience I was expecting. Another thing to note is that the intake pipe is very long and touches the ground when not in a bucket. It looks like the X5 can do a better job of prepping the hoses to avoid this. Housekeeping is dirty but not as bad as I thought. Rinse it all off with a hose, flush the system and run the 2oz Pump Armor that comes with the BTW sprayer! First of all, you do not need to buy a separate bottle of this substance. Overall very happy with the results instead of a cart which doesn't help much. A very smooth spray that gave a good result for my project. I still have a few hundred yards of fence to paint and I know it will be a good result. Pros: - Higher capacity motor compared to X5 - Nice, even spray - Quiet operation - Materials appear to be excellent and well made - Installation and cleaning is relatively easy Cons: Cart rolls your 5 gallon bucket only gently when if it is half full, 1 gallon should be fine.
