Four and five pin adapters are protected by two dust caps. These dust covers are secured to the ground terminal with a press fit. The problem is that the dust cover tab is against the ground pin. So when trying to remove the dust cover, bend the ground pin ninety degrees (see "Customer Pictures" for a picture of what I'm describing). When I first tried to open the four-pronged connector, the ground pin broke off and got stuck in the rubber dust cap. Hold dust cover straight, hold both sides - if you just use the pull tab you can pry off the ground pin like I did. This problem can easily be solved by placing the tab on the same side as the ground pin.
