I started playing with paint by number kits, trying to channel some of my bored pandemic energy into something quasi-artistic and relaxing. I have to name this particular set: I think it's amazing. I would say it's a bit more difficult than some of the others I've done. There are a lot of very small areas that need painting so I wouldn't call it kid friendly. But I think the design is really thought out and intentional: with bright colors and the use of strong black and white, this image looks really nice when viewed from a distance. Some of the other paint by numbers I've done require a lot of squinting to see the intended image, or are more abstract in general. This finished painting looks very dynamic and realistic in terms of painting. Highly recommended!
