Review on Mungyo Square Pastel Assorted B441R078 7003A by Kelly Caballes

My pastels arrived intact and very well packaged. Inside the box was a case with foam pads (see photo). These pastels are very small but the pigment is amazing. I don't paint with them; I actually use them to decorate a chalkboard each week to keep track of my pregnancy (see pic). You'll be great for this because regular chalk only comes in a few boring colors. I also have Pro Art Chalk Pastels which I've been using for a few weeks now and really like. These are actually the pastels I used to draw the attached image, but I am doing the same with these. I just haven't done the full picture with them yet. Since they are so small, I'll have to order more soon, but it's definitely worth it for the variety of colors. So that you can see the pigment, I drew a hello with a smiley face. You won't get these colors from regular chalk! Also, you'll be quick to use them when you're working on a chalkboard, as you'll need to press hard and go over the spot more than once to get good coverage. That doesn't bother me either, but at the end there is a pile of chalk (see picture).
