I use a bag for my Brompton and it's big enough. I think I could wrap pads around the bike if I wanted to check it in as luggage. The outer fabric is quite durable and the inner coating seems to be water-repellent. The inner lining of the bag is very fragile. I ripped it the first time I parked my bike. I don't think it's a big problem. If it wasn't for the lining I wouldn't have thought about it. It serves a purpose and I even bought another one for my sister. I think it's good value for money.
