Not JUST a journal. Added functionality! Page numbers make this so useful, and when I finish a section, I can go write in on the front pages what that section is about. Great if you want to be able to refer back to notes on a college course, a book, or to track Bible study, etc. Great way to be able to free-write about an RV trip and then mark the pages that are "Trip to Vegas!" Or similar.
