Review on EPAuto 6 Gauge X 16 Ft Heavy Duty Booster Jumper Cables With Travel Bag And Safety Gloves by David Lambert

I purchased this set of jumper cables to replace a set of very worn out 10 AWG cables that had been run over multiple times during our last "ice storm". These appear to be good quality cables with very heavy insulation and good clamps for both side and top post batteries. The listing for this set indicates 4 gauge (4 AWG) all copper cables, but I could not find any markings on the actual product that verifies that it is 4 AWG. It does appear to be all copper though. Comparing this cable to some actual known 4 AWG that I have on hand, it might be somewhere between 6 AWG and 4 AWG (maybe 5 AWG) It may be 4 gauge somewhere, but not quite there using American Wire Gauge standards. Still, a very good quality set of booster cables especially for the price. I haven't had the opportunity/necessity to try them yet and hopefully never will, but I am confident that they will perform well when needed.For this price ($20), I would definitely recommend them.
