Not impressed on my review.

I bought this to use on a trolling motor. It loses power quickly, and seems to put out marginal power almost from the start. That is, my motor has 5 speeds, when fully charged, the motor will go full speed for maybe a total of 5 minutes. If left off for a while, it will do the same a few more times, but once it starts to weaken, forget it. After a few hours on a lake, the 5 setting drops down to a 2 or 3. By the time you’re ready to head back you’re lucky if the 5 equals a 1. Not standard units

Pros
  • Just what i needed fast shipping very nice battery
Cons
  • Best price per amp/hour

Showed up in not great shape

Just received two of these batteries on 11/15/21. The boxes were damaged and no plastic banding was left on them. Quite honestly at over a 130 pounds each I would've expected these to have been shipped via a small pallet. Seriously, how hard is that these days? It isn't hard, but yet Renogy decided it wasn't in their best interest. So I move to trying to recover all of the bokts and pieces in the box. Well big surprise, not. I'm missing a bag of bolts to one of the terminals. Again, how hard…

Pros
  • battery is holding up have not had it long though
Cons
  • Could be affected by overcharging

Theft prevention in one simple, very heavy package

These damn things bout took out my knees. I have fallen several times trying to maneuver these things around. Rest easy knowing that opportunistic thieves would sooner break both their skinny tweaker legs than actually steal more than one of these 130 lb monsters. Will be buying more for the boat/Solar setups!

Pros
  • works great
Cons
  • Difficult to transport due to weight and size

About half what they should be

After two months of operation.I have two of these in parallel in an off-grid solar system, and although I don't have the equipment to prove it, they are putting out probably half of what they're advertised to do. Even after a desulfation cycle (actually 4 of them, on 4 subsequent nights), voltage drops are twice what they should be, and voltage appears to go down significantly even overnight, with no load attached. The one piece of equipment I do have says there are no bad cells, so I can't…

Pros
  • With a low self-discharge rate, this battery is ideal for long-term storage, allowing you to keep it on standby and ensure that it will be ready when you need it
Cons
  • Needs a suitable battery charger to maximize performance

VERY annoyed with Renogy

I got this battery 10 months ago and used it in my van over the summer. When I parked my van for the winter I put this battery on a maintainer. When I went to put it back in the van the voltage was reading 11.5 volts. I am now on the customer service treadmill. Luckily the battery should still be under warranty. Renogy told me to get an internal resistance test done and they said I could get one at any auto parts store. Well it turns out that that’s not a normal test performed on batteries and…

Pros
  • 13 x 6.8 x 9 inches
Cons
  • The battery’s performance may be affected by extreme weather conditions

I replaced the battery that came with my Jayco travel trailer with this one. A few things you probably will want to know. The battery dimensions are:13.1 x 6.9 x 8.6 inch / 332 x 175 x 219 mm - no group size is printed on the battery, if you want this to fit your application, those measurements should help.Secondly, if you are used to seeing the standard pos and neg automotive type posts on the top of the battery and need them for your application - you will need to buy screw in posts…

Pros
  • Warranty
Cons
  • May not be the best choice for those looking for a renewable energy source

Good Value - my new review

I got two of these and so far I've only run a couple bench tests on them, but it seems to be providing around 90ah, I will need to test it again in a warmer environment, but I expect that to increase closer to the 100ah rating. The first battery I got had what looked like solder flux paste inside the terminal bolt holes, and one of the terminal threads had molten solder/metal on it, preventing the

Pros
  • Used for our boat 'house battery' powering 12v attachments with solar backup.
Cons
  • May not hold charge as well over extended periods of storage

Awesome battery last forever

Great longevity. I run a 46 lbs thrust trolling motor on it for 4 days and the majority of the time i have it on high speed. I also have a little spot light I run with it and a cigarette lighter plug and with all the draw it never dulls or losses power. They are a little heavy but definitely value for your money.

Pros
  • TOO HEAVY
Cons
  • Price could be slightly higher in comparison to other batteries

AH rating outdated in my review

These batteries are cheap when they’re on sale but do not hold a lot of usable energy. I had these installed in a 48 V series connection in my RV. After doing some testing with high wattage appliances I was super bummed to find the batteries draining very quickly even after being on a Agm battery maintainer for 3 months. I’m not sure if this had to do with a specific batch of batteries I received. I do give them good ratings for customer service because I was able to get a refund for all four…

Pros
  • Longer Shelf Life
Cons
  • May not be suitable for marine or coastal environments

never worked to begin with

got this battery in august 2020 for our fifth wheel we were purchasing in the following springg because it was such a great deal. we had to wait until may 2021 to camp for personal reasons, but for some reason when we hooked it up it worked for a couple minutes and then everything shut off. we thought it was the camper because the battery was brand new and the camper was bought used. we had the fuse box inspected and all wiring was good in the camper, bought a battery charger incase the battery

Pros
  • Just putting in Boat now
Cons
  • May require additional components for installation

Newly installed good for me

Just installed these about a month ago. The outdoor temp this summer was a threat to the lithium batteries. They work great ever in 100 degree temperatures!

Pros
  • Power Most Appliances
Cons
  • Can heat up and become a potential safety hazard if damaged

Seems well built. Haven’t tested it yet. I was sent a battery that had likely been returned before. The inside box’s tape was cut, the plastic terminal protectors were removed and left under the battery which could not have gotten there unless the battery was taken out and put back in the box. The battery was dropped at some point on the corner and dented. Who knows if that will affect the longevity, if any internals were weakened. The top of the battery is scuffed. Maybe all of this will be…

Pros
  • Better Performance at Extreme Temp
Cons
  • May not handle high humidity environments very well

Excellent product for my opinion

Purchased two of these to replace the old batteries in my two backup sump pump systems. The old batteries started failing and leaked acid which made a huge mess. Had then for two months. So far so good. Purchased these because I wanted a sealed gel battery that's maintenance-free and something that'd last a long time. I've had V-MaxTank batteries in the past but they've quickly become cost-prohibitive for my application costing over $300 each. These Renogy batteries seem to be quality made…

Pros
  • Good vendor, good product, delivered quickly, thanks.
Cons
  • Not suitable for high altitude areas

I am happy that I invested in this deep cycle battery. I will likely purchase 3 more for my battery bank in my camper. I was very happy that it fit onto my battery tray on my A frame. Gives me plenty of power for my current needs but will have 3 more to increase my dry camping ability to 5 days. These batteries also charge in a good amount of time. Very pleased with this investment.

Pros
  • Batteries & Accessories
Cons
  • Not ideal for long-term storage without proper maintenance

Renogy Deep Cycle AGM Battery 12 Volt 200Ah

First some math on how to figure how much battery you need and how long it should last.Ah which no one knows how to figure into Watt Hours which is what you need.Voltage X Ah = Watt Hours. So 12v X 200Ah = 2400 Watt Hours. Which you can use 40 to 50 percent of without damaging AGM batteries. So in reality out of a single 200 Ah battery you can use 1200 Watt Hours.A few more numbers. :)100% charge 12.80 - 15 volts75% charge 12.60 volts50% charge 12.30 volts25% charge 12.00 volts THIS WILL DAMAGE…

Pros
  • With a long cycle life and exceptional charging efficiency, this battery is a cost-effective solution for long-term off-grid power needs
Cons
  • May not be the most environmentally friendly option

Holds charge - my new review

Very good battery. I added this to two more Renogy batteries after buying a new camper that had more components that require more amp hours to run.

Pros
  • Have been using this battery on our 90+ day trip and it holds a charge great for our camper
Cons
  • Not the best option for harsh weather conditions

THIS IS A SCAM for my opinion

This is a typical SCAM battery that makes you think your getting a deal when you buy the solar kit! I was sent a 100ah 12v and it won't fully charge. I didn't realize this was a problem until after the 30 days of trouble shooting. My battery when I fully charged it would only charge up to 12.9v. It will NOT stay in the 13v range. dropping voltage between the 12.6v to 12.4v range. LET THE WORLD KNOW THAT RENOLOGY NEEDS TO GO! BY NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM. DON'T EVEN GET THE PANELS! LISTEN…

Pros
  • Lots of capacity
Cons
  • Has limited discharge cycles

great for an RV best in my review

I bought this for my RV and I am thankful I did. Not suitable for high temperature environments! It solved a lot of problems I was having with my old batteries.

Pros
  • Not a nut terminal, bolt on
Cons
  • Not suitable for high temperature environments

4 yrs and still working

Bought two of these Renogy 200ah batteries in 2018 to power home medical equipment when we have a power outage, and we have many outages where I live. They have performed very well. they have enough power for 8+ hrs of powering an electric hospital bed, oxygen concentrator, suction machine, room light, tv and dvd player. They are stored in my hot garage with a charger and inverter and when the power goes out, I just run a 6ga extension cord and surge protector from the garage to the master…

Pros
  • Deep Cycle AGM Battery 12 Volt 100Ah
Cons
  • Can be difficult to dispose of safely
