I was looking for something to stabilize my phone for a friend's small civil wedding. the packaging is really great. Feels like a premium product and you won't be afraid of breaking it when you put it in your backpack. That worried me when I bought it. Mine came with a felt pouch to keep everything together. This is my first cell phone gimbal and I'm really impressed. I made a video of myself going up and down the stairs. As you can see it's really smooth. You have to twist the case harder than you think to bring it from storage mode to manual mode. Nothing wrong with that. The application contains many options. You don't have to use the app and for most purposes I prefer the camera app on my phone. If you're not using the included app (with advanced features and settings), here's a tip: you can connect to the gimbal via Bluetooth and start and stop recording with the shutter button. This worked for my Pixel 2 XL. Overall I am very impressed with this product. When you record video, it's incredibly stable - that's the most important feature.
