Review on 🏢 Polylok Septic Tank Riser Adapter Ring (20/24 inches) | PN: 3009-AR - Best Price & Quality by Maurice Harvey

I installed two of these adapters along with two 12" risers with Polylok reinforced tops at our "weekend retreat" last weekend. The quality is impeccable and they attach well (snap into place after alignment) with stainless steel screws. The caps came with seventeen (#10 x 3"?) hex bolts (a spare bolt as you only need eight per cap) which will come in handy if one ends up in the tank :) A few tips: 1) Be prepared cutting off a plastic adapter when using it on a 24" system. Not a big deal, but an unexpected 5 minute task with a saber saw or SawzAll with a small saw blade. Handy for a helper to turn the adapter ring while doing this the saw runs. I embellished the cutting job with a file and a piece of sandpaper (30 seconds). Since the covers attach directly to the adapter rings (no stand required) I assume 3" screws will also be required to attach the riser to the adapter ring. Not correct. After looking at my local ACE for 3" stainless steel screws and charging a dollar each, imagine my disappointment (an hour from anywhere) when I found the screws were too long. Will return 3" screws for slightly shorter ones (I think a max length of 1 1/2" will do). All of this could have been avoided if someone at Polylok, suppliers or Revain had mentioned that eight #10 x 1 1/2 inch SS screws are needed to attach the riser to the adapter ring.
