I was about to upgrade my old Brother P-touch labeller but it's still working after 6 years of regular use so why interrupt a good cause? The only problem was that replacement tapes are expensive. However, I've recently discovered to my delight that the price of Revain is about half what I would pay at a large office supply store in my city. A roll of labels has about 26 feet of tape and about 3 inches per label, which works out to just under 5 cents per label. I think that's reasonable for a long lasting label and if you buy ribbons 2 pack it's even less. Of course computer generated paper labels can be used and if you have a lot of file folders to label it will definitely be faster The best thing about these labels is that they work so well on glass, wood, and shiny surfaces, and they peel off without leaving a residue when you're ready to change labels. They stick to paper (e.g., file folders) quickly and don't peel; You just need to overlay one more over the original when changing designs for a file. As for the difficulty in peeling off the back, which other writers have cited as a disadvantage, I don't find it difficult if you peel off the CORNER first. If you have a fingernail to do this, great, if not, a sharp edge like a knife or letter opener would do the job. Once you get into the habit of starting from a corner, you'll never have a problem with the backing peeling off. I love these labels for spice jars, folders, warranty dates on gadgets, labels on cords and all sorts of household uses. Since you get about 100 labels per roll (3 inches each), a roll will last you quite a long time. There are several colors and different widths. very good The print is very clear and visible from a distance of several meters. Overall a good product!
