The panini press works but seems to be working too well. The edges seem to burn too quickly. It would be great if there was temperature control. So far we've only used it with Canadian white bread, so it may not burn if you use bread of a different consistency. I might learn a few tricks after using it more times, but for now it just burns the edges of anything I put in it. I'm considering buying it again. The jump in price from this device to some others is steep and I doubt I'll use it enough to justify the cost. I don't feel disadvantaged for the price, but I'm not completely satisfied either.
