Review on Moog K8361 Radius Arm Bushing by Andrew Jenkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect fit for my '96 F-150.

I noticed a strong knock on the driver's side. Replaced shock absorbers, bearings, then ball. More noise. Checked for loose body parts. One day I went underwater and just noticed the hands hanging from the bottom of the pit. Replaced it and everything is perfect now. no noise Can't say it was easy, but not bad either. Release the lever on the driver's side, it wasn't that bad. Used a 1 ⅛ fob key. Wrong size, it's metric but I didn't have the right size. I unscrewed the bolt on the lever up front and left the spring and shock in place. Use the ratchet strap on the fender and arm and pull it back enough to pry the threads out of the hole. We got back together pretty easily. Mine didn't have a band like some of them. Got it back and it's good. The passenger side was a bit stiffer. I had to heat the bushing bolt with a MAPP gas torch for a few minutes. Withdrew with little resistance thereafter. The ratchet strap didn't work on that side so I had to use what I call a long mount on the fender and axle. Pulled forward with no problems. Release it slowly and had to use a jack to straighten the threaded part back into the hole. After that everything went smoothly again. Drives like it did when it was bought when it was 5 years old.
