Review on Seirus Innovation 2915 Hyperlite Storm Socks by Joseph Hall

I am returning these because they are not very waterproof. I quickly tested them under the tap and within seconds my feet were wet. I took them off and turned them inside out and of course they are wet inside. Interestingly, they are not as sock-like as I had imagined. I bought two pairs, one for me for adventure racing and one for my brother to take to New York. While they fit me nice and snug, they have a seam at the top of the foot which is uncomfortable for me and doesn't match some shoes (and part of the waterproofing issue, although the base isn't waterproof either). As an everyday gift, they look like a cross between a sock and neoprene booties. This won't do my brother any good. Also, the part that is above the ankle is not as tight as the sock. It didn't gape, but it wasn't really comfortable either. Size medium fits me perfectly, women's size 8.5. I gave it two stars because it was nice on the inside, but I might have given it one star because of the stitching along the top. I will try again with another brand for a better waterproof sock.
