    Seirus waterproof socks

    Good warm and waterproof; very important when working on a boat. However, they are a little tight, which makes them difficult to put on. After putting them on they are fine. A bit expensive

    It's not worth it. for men

    I bought these on my way to Afghanistan because my platoon sergeant recommended them. Well, they're waterproof, but terrible for your foot health. Aside from that, what you're really worried about getting wet are your boots, as your feet dry out easily. I would recommend all wool socks, especially merino wool. They're antimicrobial, retain 80% of their warmth when wet, and dry quickly. This is just a piece of clothing that you don't need and will regret wearing on a regular basis.

    Definitely not waterproof

    I am returning these because they are not very waterproof. I quickly tested them under the tap and within seconds my feet were wet. I took them off and turned them inside out and of course they are wet inside. Interestingly, they are not as sock-like as I had imagined. I bought two pairs, one for me for adventure racing and one for my brother to take to New York. While they fit me nice and snug, they have a seam at the top of the foot which is uncomfortable for me and doesn't match some shoes…

    Great socks for ski boots.

    If your feet get cold while skiing, try the following. The Gore-Tex material wicks sweat away from the skin and keeps feet dry. Even with wet inner shoes, your feet stay dry and warm. Works on the hunt, even with snowshoes. I switched from silk socks many years ago and have never had cold feet since.
