Review on 🎨 Vibrant Neon Assortment: 2oz UV Blacklight Reactive Fluorescent Acrylic Paints by DirectGlow by Carla Anderson

I wanted to make a black light poster.

So I'm thinking this would probably work for a simple project like applying UV decoration to the outside of a fish tank, but for actual painting? Terrible. The consistency is very liquid, several layers are required for application. With this material, it is very difficult to get an even coating and it is very noticeable. When I put it under a black light, there were streaks all over it. Even after multiple coats of paint. Blue doesn't really glow and neither does green, at least not very well. If you're looking for a cheaper option and aren't using it for a specific craft, grab some markers. Yellow, orange, and pink colors are usually visible under black light. These paints are really a bit pricey for the quality.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

The colors look wonderful under regular light and even better under blacklight
