I have tried so many different products on my horse. Summer in Florida is tough on her skin as she is severely allergic to mosquitoes and the combination with mosquito bites makes her itchy so much her stomach and throat are bloody. But this neem oil really helped a lot! Here's how I used it: - I diluted a small amount of neem oil in water and also added a few drops of dish soap to make it mix better with water. - I poured everything into a spray bottle. And once a day she sprayed all her sore spots. Bugs don't seem to like neem oil either as they don't sit on my horse for hours. And it's great! "Before spraying her, I also washed the affected areas with baby shampoo to wash any crusts off her skin. Let your hair dry and then apply neem oil. Within a week or two her hair was already starting to grow back and the cuts were completely healed! I was so thrilled when I finally saw that my horse was no longer bothered by biting insects, that his skin was healing and he was no longer itchy. I highly recommend you try this on your horse too!
