Review on πŸ”§ Accusize Industrial Tools: Precision and Accuracy in Every Detail by Brian Potter

Be very, very careful when setting this up.

Very sensitive. If I put a sheet of till paper (receipt) under one of the blocks (about 6 inches apart), the bubble moves in many lines, which means you have to move the leveling feet a fraction of a turn or else the bubble will flip off one end to the other. As for home workshop gear, I don't know if more precision gives better results. This was a 6' long x 2 1/2' wide lathe leveled with 5/8"-11 leveling feet. Remember I said I can tell a fraction of a turn on the leveling nuts so the level so that has the same level as I did not give 5 stars because the calibration of the block was not entirely accurate when I received it and the resizing is so sensitive that it shows the same with a 180 degree rotation is a slow one and tedious process. I just used some pads. paper and a small watch screwdriver (worked better than the wrench that came with it. But turning the adjustment nut 1/4th moves things a lot. If you have to resort to that, work slowly (the bubble may take a minute for her to completely calm down) and take notes on what you did and what happened. The instructions describe it, in something condescending C could call hinglish. If you guessed the author's dialect, you can follow him.
