Worked great! on Sensors

Application: 2007 Infiniti G35 X - AWD 5/AT 4dr Perfect for my electric water temp sensor setup. I couldn't find the size (in millimeters) of my radiator hose anywhere so I ordered a 34mm which turned out to be too small and enlarged it to 38mm which was a tight fit. I went ahead and installed it in the upper radiator hose which I replaced with a new one before installing this thing. When cutting, make sure you remove a 3cm piece from the part of the hose where you want to connect the adapter. Otherwise your hose will be too long and you risk kinking the line. small/weak for my radiator hose so I went to the hardware store to get the big ones which worked great. If you're using snail clamps like I do (or the ones that come with this adapter), make sure you tighten the clamps frequently. DO NOT OVERSPEED. Temperature changes will cause the worm drive clamp to slowly loosen over time. I also wrapped the probe threads with two turns of yellow PTFE sealing tape to prevent leaks. The probe I bought fitted the threaded hole snugly, but as the hex drive for the probe went deeper it became difficult to tighten the probe as the hex drive hit the small silver ground screw. It was a real pain in the ass, but after a while it finally worked. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ADDED A GROUND WIRE TO THE ADAPTER! Most inaccurate readings are due to improper sensor grounding. I ran a wire from the adapter's ground screw to an unpainted screw on the car's frame. I also put together some diagrams of how I installed the water temp sensor and thought I'd share them in hopes they might help someone.
