Review on 🍾 OBALY Compact Vertical Corkscrew Set: Stainless Steel Screwpull Levers with Vacuum Wine Bottle Stopper, Presented in an Elegant Book Gift Box - Perfect for Gifts and Decor by David Skyline

I have purchased and/or used several different types of wine openers ranging from a few dollars up to $150. In my experience, those at the top of this price range are rarely good enough to justify the exorbitant cost. While not nearly as expensive as some of the others I've used, this OBALY wine opener is *very* good, especially when compared to sub-$20 options. The first thing that struck me about this OBALY wine opening is the superb packaging. You know those books people cut out to hide their valuables? The packaging of this corkscrew reminds me of these, but the book and 'pages' are cardboard, and the inside has a hole cut in the shape of the corkscrew instead of an open cavity to allow it to fit snugly in the box. a book that also has a thick rubber band attached to keep the book closed. I'm not sure if this package was meant to be kept or thrown away, but I decided to leave the opener in its "book" wrapper and keep it on a shelf in my pantry with my cookbooks. Apart from the packaging, the bottle opener itself is very nice. The operation is very smooth and requires very little effort. Our 10 year old was with me when I received the bottle opener and was absolutely mesmerized; he insisted on opening my bottle of wine that evening, which I allowed him to do (under my supervision, of course). Although he had never used this type of corkscrew (or any other type of corkscrew to my knowledge), with my minimal verbal instruction he was able to quickly figure out how it worked. Needless to say, this is a very easy to use corkscrew. I wasn't sure about the rose gold color but it's actually a lot nicer than the photos. Of course I think I would still prefer something more neutral but the color doesn't bother me like I assumed. Overall I am very happy with this wine opener. I expect it to last quite a while considering how seldom I have to use it. If you're looking for a new wine corkscrew and want something well built that's easy to use but won't break the bank, then buy this OBALY wine corkscrew.
