We were on a recent trip to Italy and a couple of our friends in Trieste and Brescia had this coffee maker. This is the only stove top coffee maker that actually brews espresso with a layer of foam, just like in an Italian coffee bar. We have an induction cooker at home and bought the model that works with induction. We've been making coffee for 2 weeks now and it's great, our old mocha coffee maker has been on the shelf since we got the Kamira. Coffee. Once you have a little practice it will be very quick to use and as fast as mocha. My wife heats the milk in the microwave, then prepares a double Camira espresso straight into the milk, finishing with a small spoonful of honey. The result is a delicious latte with little foam. I only have straight espresso. It is also nice that your cup heats up automatically. The only downside is that if you're having guests and want to make a lot of espresso, you might be better off with a large mocha. This is a great alternative to an expensive desktop espresso machine.
