Does exactly the job I need

I am a data center manager. I hooked up a fiber optic link to create a point-to-point path between the data center and a remote location. The original plan was to install their own fiber optic equipment. But in the end we got a copper connection at one end. It doesn't matter. This media converter allowed me to quickly and easily run the circuit and do exactly what it was designed to do. Convert between fiber and Cat5e/Cat6 at gigabit speeds. We had no problems with the circuitry, so the media converter does its job well.
