Underpowered - my new review

I used it a few times and found it to be vert underpowered. It stalled out cutting 1/4 inch thick, 1 in wide slats. True, the wood was a hardwood, maple, walnut. Maybe it would be ok on soft pines or balsa craft woods. Need to be careful installing blade, I didn’t get it centered the first time. If go slow, seems to cut accurately enough. I’m going try it a few more times, like the fact seems safer than using my big chop saw for small items.

Pros
  • This is a true mini miter saw
Cons
  • It was supposed to be for crafting, but it is so poorly made, I don't trust it.
