Do not overtighten these screws. It's not mandatory. Simply press them firmly to slightly compress the o-ring.
I bought these gold plated screws for my new Dan Eagle grips that I ordered for my Rock Island Armory 1911. Dan Eagle supplies beautiful gold plated screws and o-rings. But they looked really unique instead of slotted screws. They fit easily and were the perfect length. And they look really evil! They even tell you the exact size of Torx wrench you need to install them.
