Great screws and they look good on my gun. They fit well. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because they are made in Taiwan. I was kind of annoyed. Spring. At least they look good and work well.

I used them on my Springfield Compact Range Officer 1911 with VG grips. The screw heads are thicker and the thread length is slightly longer than standard screws, but they worked great! I was concerned about the length of the threads but I checked and they don't protrude into the store.

I bought these gold plated screws for my new Dan Eagle grips that I ordered for my Rock Island Armory 1911. Dan Eagle supplies beautiful gold plated screws and o-rings. But they looked really unique instead of slotted screws. They fit easily and were the perfect length. And they look really evil! They even tell you the exact size of Torx wrench you need to install them.

When I wanted to change grips on my 1911, a couple of the standard slotted head screws that had Loctite on them had to come out A LOT. When I loosened them some heads of the slotted screws were bent around the edges. In addition to these Torx head screws, square and hex head replacements were available.
