I use this as an old school scrapbook (with a touch of collage/art magazine/trash magazine) and it's perfect - I like the horizontal layout, I like the large size and I love it that it has binder rings that open and close so I can add/remove pages and move things around, and you can use the 3-hole adjustable punch to punch your own pages to fit. The pages have a good base too - it's not the most luxurious paper in the world, but it does the trick as a base layer. at the time of this review) for a regular chipboard scrapbook. It has no fabric or paper covered chipboard hardcovers. I love the simple look but if you are using it for a wedding or an event or even as a special keepsake book you may want to cover it or buy a hardcover scrapbook.
