I ordered this charger in addition to a new wireless charging mount for my truck. outdated and cannot deliver the speed of this charger. Trond still works but charging with my wireless mount was slow. Enter the Hussell brand. Thanks to the built-in chip in this Qualcomm 3.0 high speed standard charger, it works much better with my 10W Qi fast charging solution. For comparison, I have a Samsung Note 10 phone that supports both wireless fast charging and wired charging. Charger. After upgrading my car charger to this model, it took 59 minutes on the wireless solution to go from 63% to a full battery. When my phone was plugged into a dedicated fast charger, it took 44 minutes to fully charge at the same 63% percentage. When using the wireless fast charging solution, the difference is only 15 minutes. That's insanely good because you expect less efficiency (I also have a thin case on my Note 10 which may/may contribute to wireless charging disadvantages). In general, this charger is equivalent to the speed of an outlet if you have a Qualcomm-enabled phone. Fast Charge 3.0. Gone are the days of slow car chargers. As for durability, time will tell. However, I can comment on initial observations on the build quality and they are all positive. The device is surprisingly heavy for its size as it is made of metal. It's a tiny accessory, by the way. I photographed the subject in comparison to a standard coffee mug. The box that this item comes in is also tiny. Pretty, I dare say I would describe the packaging. The only downside to this device is the price they charge for it. For $15 (discounted!) there are plenty of plastic bodied clones out there that might do the job just as well. After all, my Trond is a plastic device and still works after more than 3 years. I paid less for it when I bought it. However, I don't blame the manufacturer for including a more expensive item as I can see the quality is there in its construction. A complement that usually rings true; you get what you pay for; In this case 100% applicable. If you don't mind a few extra bucks, spend wisely and get this little guy. This is a well made beast that I expect will last you many dependable years.
