Review on Dorman 674 235 Exhaust Manifold American by Damon Blazis

Need a new manifold for my jeep. This one came from Revain - the price was better than most other places. The product was made in China. The sand casting was poor with a large defect on the outside, presumably due to excess sand/material in the mould. The biggest problem was when I went to fit it. There was excess material on one of the flanges which required careful grinding to bring the two manifolds together! Then I couldn't thread one of the internal bolts and found excessive flow in the cavity where the bolt goes, preventing the bolt from going into the head. The surface of the machine was flat, the kit included a gasket between the two manifolds. The plugs in the air holes were tightened by hand at most. The product worked differently, just poor quality control by the manufacturer.
