Good concept but a lot of upkeep!

I like the concept of this grass pad and my puppies will use it but the smell of urine is very strong in the pad. I use pee pads (doubled up) underneath the grass pad but it still keeps the urine smell in the grass pad. I washed it thoroughly twice in one day to take the smell out and it did but as soon as they use it again, the smell is back. I can't wash it daily as that is a lot of work. I wish it absorbed the odor better. I also spray the pad with a spray occasionally to eliminate the strong odor. I like the pad, I just wish it didn't smell so badly.

Pros

The synthetic grass is easy to clean and maintain, making it a hassle-free solution for pet owners who don't have time for extensive yard work

Cons

Artificial grass may fail to provide the same grounding or connection to nature as real grass

I put this out on my balcony and my dogs are obsessed with it. They are potty trained so they don’t do their business on it but they love to lay on it and enjoy the sun. It is thick, durable and looks great. Came within 2 days. So happy with it!!
