My son is a professional dog trainer. He told me to buy an e-collar. I thought that's what he meant. We only used the Vibration setting as the SHOCK setting is REALLY strong even at 1. My finger was sore for 30 minutes when I tried it on myself. I gave my son a chance. He couldn't feel hit 1 so we set it to 10. He threw it across the room screaming that it was a torture device and shouldn't be legal. Real e-collars do NOT shock. Please do not buy this, but if you do, do not use the shock function. It's really too much and inhuman. Harassing dogs is not training.
