Review on Hopkins Multi-Tow 7 Blade to 5 Flat and 4 Flat Adapter - 47385 by Douglas Irwin

ATTENTION: Hopkins 7-Blade on 5 and 4 Flat (#47385) *WILL NOT FIT* Pollack's popular 7-Blade OEM assembly (11-893P)! These Pollack sockets are OEM for at least Porsche, Audi and VW and I believe * BMW as well as some domestic US vehicles. The Hopkins part is approximately 1mm larger in diameter so it will not fit without first grinding/grinding at least 1mm of plastic down the full length and circumference of the male end of the Hopkins #47385 to fit the socket . A portion of Pollack 11-893P is described above. I've had no problems with other 7-pin connectors (several brands) that fit the Pollack 11-893P socket, so I'm assuming the problem is related to the Hopkins part listed here. YMMV.
