Review on Efficient 2-Pack Glass French Press Coffee & Tea Maker by Mind Reader by Tracy Madison

Almost perfect coffee for the office

I need a way to make coffee in the office that doesn't allow personal electrical equipment or fire. Just consider a water dispenser that only delivers 8 ounces of insufficiently hot water per cycle and a microwave oven, how can you quickly and conveniently brew a great cup of coffee with minimal mess? This press had all the features: Perfectly sized borosilicate glass beaker. for 1 normal cup of coffee in two dispensing cycles - No metal in the cup holder to put it in the microwave - No disposable filters or other dirty objects - Easy cleaning in the sink. Unfortunately, it has two major downsides that prompt me to only rate it 3 stars - the metal mesh falls out a bit, of course. Usually ground coffee is not enough resulting in a cloudy drink - plunger rod is MUCH short. I wouldn't expect it to bottom as you don't want to squeeze the grind too hard. However, a full third of the already small volume of the glass is easily lost in the process, but the piston stroke is extremely short. When I bought them the price was very low so I would probably still buy them at that price knowing these flaws. If you buy them, be aware of the limitations. They still seem good for tea or for frothing milk.

Pros
  • Borosilicate glass is heat resistant and has a protective coating
Cons
  • No mold required
