This is an awesome stand. It arrived in the mail in perfect condition 3 days after placing the order. It was simple to assemble and all the tools needed were provided with the stand. The stand is quite heavy, but I'm not super strong and easily put it together myself in maybe 15 minutes following the instructions provided. It feels extremely sturdy! It's not tippy - my kids have been playing in it and i don't feel nervous. I really like that the base of the stand has feet that are in an X rather than a circle so we, especially my little ones, don't trip getting into and out of the chair. We got it for our covered porch and it makes a beautiful addition. Everyone wants to sit in the hammock chair now.
